Renewal: A Night of Prophetic Impartation and Intercession

On September 17th, we will gather for a night of RENEWAL. The word renewal is a derivative of the word RENEW. To renew a person/thing, means to:

to make like new

to restore to existence

TO GRANT OR OBTAIN AN EXTENSION

Exhaustion.

Doubt.

Despair.

Discouragement.

Grief.

Trauma.

Transition.

All of these things can make us feel like we’re wandering in a wilderness, which inevitably brings us to a point of desperation for renewal.

Think of how the Israelites wandering in the wilderness after God delivered them from Egypt. After desiring freedom for SO LONG, God finally sets them free, but with a caveat. The new found freedom of the Israelites preceded a long and arduous journey.

Throughout that crazy season of transition, God’s people complained and continually looked back to the way things were. Bondage seemed more tolerable than their current circumstances, but they didn’t see things the way God saw them.

The promised land was all about their renewal. God was restoring them. God was doing a work in them during their journey and their battles. His work couldn’t happen any other way. It was for their good and His glory.

On September 17th, we will be shedding the layers of exhaustion, doubt, anger, resentment and allowing the presence of God to renew and restore us for the rest of the journey.
